Café Study Rooms

StudieStuen is a cozy place where you as a student can read, buy used books and enjoy some delicious coffee or tea. This cozy place is located at Nedergade 12 in Odense, and is run by volunteer students who think that Odense lacked a place where the students could sit down to read in peace and quiet.

The atmosphere is informal and relaxed, as the study room's focus is that you and your fellow students must have a place to read in a calm and pleasant atmosphere. This place should be seen more as a studio café than anything else, as it is possible to buy snacks. However, the food is not central here. The difference between StudieStuen and the many other cafés in Odense is that you can sit and read in peace and quiet without any disturbing elements. There is no loud music in the speakers or noisy people around you. StudieStuen has made a cozy place where you can study, which is a little away from home. It is the perfect place to meet with the study group, or to get some of the homework you lack. If you want to sell or buy used study books, StudieStuen can help you with this.

StudieStuen is much more than just a place to read, as you can also attend various events that are held regularly. Concerts, poetry collections and general meetings are among the many events that you can become a part of. StudieStuen is open every day, but with different opening hours depending on which day it is about. Regardless of when you need to do homework, or just have to meet with the study group, you can always count on the Study Room.

However, it is not just a place for you and the study group, as you also have ample opportunity to get acquainted with other fellow students, and potentially future new friends. Many students make use of StudieStuen, and this creates a community among the many students. It can be nice to talk to new people and to talk to someone who might know the same study as you.

Another way you can contribute to the community in StudieStuen is by volunteering. StudieStuen can always use more volunteers to help keep track of the place, and if you have a burning desire to help and be there for others, StudieStuen can be the place for you. StudieStuen has existed since September 2010, and has had great success ever since. For many, it is the right place to go if you need to get away from home, but at the same time be able to sit among other students and read homework. Especially as a newcomer, StudieStuen can be a good way to meet new people and expand your network. The place provides a community of students and an opportunity to learn from others.
