You might have found out that you would like to be an engineer, but you did not take a qualifying exam that can bring you into the program.

Fear not! You still have an opportunity to get in, even if it is a long time since you've gone to school.

Admission Course for the engineering, is your way if you have a professional background, other practical experience or if you are missing one or more subjects or higher levels of your secondary school exam in order to meet the entry requirements for BSc or MSc degree programs. Access course is a flexible and fast way to engineering.

The course is for those who have a few years of practical work experience or training after 10th grade. You must take the Entrance examination for the engineering programs (the so-called block exam), and you can choose either the 1-year or 1 ½ year project.

It is also for those who have completed a high school diploma or have a higher technical education, KVU or the like, but lack some subjects or levels to meet the entry requirements for the engineering. You can supplement the individual subjects, and it will usually take six months or a year.

The emphasis is on subjects of physics and chemistry, as it is important elements of the engineering education. You should at least end by having mathematics and Danish at A-level physics at level B and English and chemistry at C-level.

It is possible either to ordinary SU or adult SU (SVU) to the program.

Application deadlines

There are studies of 1-årshold (block and supplement) every year in early August. Moreover starts at Admission Course in Odense a 1 ½ year hold every January. The application deadlines are July 1 and December 1.
