Oure College offers two different ski courses, an alpine and backcountry freeride course. Additionally, you can at the school also train you to respectively Basic Ski Instructor and Professional Ski Instructor. Common to the four offer is a focus to give you some unique experiences while you develop your own skill on skis and become a better skier.
You will both be team taught and receive intensive, individual tuition of some of the best ski instructors (PSI / EuroSkiPro). The courses and training sessions take place partly at Oure School, and in the French Alps. At the school, you will be dressed theoretical and practical on to your stay in the Alps, where you will be accommodated at schools in Oure own ski resort of Alpe d'Huez with the school's other ski and snowboard learners.
Ski - Alpin (November to May):
In this course, you can develop your skiing and become a more confident skier. There is no requirement for how much experience with skiing you need when you start. Tuition is based on your skills. After training and education at Oure School, we head for about eight weeks in the Alps. Here you will include to engage in freewheeling, school turns, moguls, gates and off piste.
Ski - Offpiste-Free Ride (November-May):
Are you keen to try hard snow conditions skiing off the groomed slopes, then this course may be for you. You get to learn how to control your skis in different snetyper and terrains while testing the extreme areas such as La Grave or Chamonix. You do not need to be an experienced skier, when you start the course. These are based on the level you are at. Before the trip, for about 8 weeks goes to the French Alps, you will be at Oure School taught both practical and theoretical, so you are properly dressed for the deep snow and the free run down the slopes.
Ski - Basic Ski Instructor (November to May):
BSI is a basic instructor training that allows you to get seasonal work and / or further education to the Professional Ski Instructor. With BSI program from Oure, you have great opportunities to get a job in Norway, Austria and Canada, where schools in Oure cooperate with various ski schools.
The approximately 8 weeks dedicated to practical skierfaring, will take place in one of Frank Rings top ski resorts, Alpe d 'Huez, where schools in Oure own ski hotel is also located. The first period in the Alps is a basic course where you as BSI-pupil is assembled with skikursisterne from lines Offpiste / Freeride and Alpine. Here you get instruction coasting, school turns, moguls, gates and off piste. The different course provides you with the optimal conditions for passing BSI exam.
Ski - Professional Ski Instructor (July to June):
Oure College inspiring and ambitious professional environment going to put the track in both your skiing and in you as a person. School's goal is to educate you to a reflective, authoritative and responsible ski instructor with a professionalism that extend beyond the slopes. With PSI program you can train yourself instructor at European level. The program's purpose is to prepare you for the Danish Skiskoles / Danish Skiing Federation exams at BSI and the PSI level and Euro test. (EU demands for freedom to work as a ski instructor in the EU).
The program is divided into four modules:
Module 1: School Course (incl. 2 weeks on skis)
Module 2: Ski lessons in France (outside College Act and incl. Paid work)
Module 3: College Course
Module 4: PSI-examination week (outside College Act)
We have a strong team of educators that bring your skiing to the next level. They even have many years of experience, and they aim to learn as much from him as possible, and thereby make you as good a skier as possible. Beside the skifaglige teaching you a number of subjects, which will help you to become a better skier and sportsman through a wider knowledge of both sportsand the community that surrounds you.
