When you take training public administration, there are many opportunities as it covers a large area. It is possible to specialize in HR, finance, guidance, taxes and duties or welfare. You start with a 2-year base where you are taught in innovation, quality assurance, community descriptions and organizational and communication theory. Then select field of study within the area you want to specialize in.

With a degree in public administration get competencies to put everything in order and keep track of it all. It's just that can be used anywhere in the public sector. It is a very targeted education aimed at particular employment in the municipality, so it requires you to be good to have an overview and have the patience to work in an environment where it does not go the same speed always from idea to decision.

Some of your tasks may be to develop and analyze new opportunities and you can come to sit in positions ranging from clerk to executive director of a whole department in a municipality. Everything depends on you and your network, your ability to perform the administrative tasks and gather the threads.

It is important that you are good at communicating and managing projects, as many tasks in a municipality is project-driven.
