In order to work as a dentist you must take the 2-year Master's degree in Dentistry. You will be introduced to new and essential subjects that you will need in your daily work as a dentist. The following is a description of some of the subjects you come into contact with:
Prosthetics is a subject of tooth loss and edentulism and the treatment options. Oral and maksillofacial surgery is a surgical discipline for the treatment of disorders of the mouth, teeth and jaw. Oral pathology and medicine is a profession where you get acquainted with the most common oral diseases and related treatments.
Pediatric Dentistry is the dental care for children, both diagnosis and treatment of the most frequent, but also rarer diseases. Common to all the compulsory subjects is that you must pass them to finish your education.
With the 2-year Master's degree you have the opportunity to seek employment as a dental assistant. Want to work as an independent dentist you must apply for authorization at the National Board of Health - it requires that you have worked full-time as an assistant for at least 1 year.
