MBSR (Mindfulness Based Stress Reduction) is a scientifically based method originally developed to handle stress, pain and other stress-related symptoms such as insomnia, difficulty concentrating, headaches, anxiety, fatigue and more. All, however, may benefit from the method. To practice mindfulness can help to deal with life's many challenges in an often hectic lives; to be more present and get more peace and balance in his life.
The method was developed by Professor Jon Kabat-Zinn, University of Massachussett's Medical School, USA. In these years is mindfulness increasingly used in the treatment of various ailments, and the method is gaining acceptance and fitting the health care system, the educational world and in organizations mm.
Mindfulness is the mental training that strengthens the ability to be aware of this and accepting a kind and gentle way - both to themselves and others. Through training in mindfulness can achieve mental freedom to a greater extent act intentionally instead of reacting 'unconscious' - or 'business as usual'. But mindfulness is 'heart' training, training in compassion for themselves and others. As such, mindfulness also a key social component. Key elements of MBSR is non-medicalization and to learn what you can do to take responsibility for their own health and wellbeing.
To practice mindfulness is a means to be more present in his life and to learn to be with yourself in a friendly and constructive manner - even when life is difficult. Mindfulness meditation can exercise creating mental calmness, clarity, profits and more happiness.
The course extends over eight weeks, with a weekly session, which lasts 2 ½ - 3 hours. To get the full benefit of the course it is important to set aside 45 minutes a day for home exercises. In turn, mindfulness eventually become a way of life, a way that can be used in everyday life - for life.
