Are you a strong swimmer and want to earn some extra money during the summer break, then take the GIV, where you can be trained as a lifeguard.

It's for you who would like "world's best summer job" or for those who just would like to get in gun shape by working out in water. You get to work out and sweat in the water at traditional and non-traditional ways. We are dedicated to the Danish Swimming Union lifeguard entrance examination (see: www.bliv-livredder.nu )

The entrance examinations is in January and February. With the completion of the course on Gymnastics and Sports Academy in December are you ready for the tests. On the way to the goal we train aerobic capacity and the four styles and general movement in the water. Swimming / Coastal Lifesaving physical training with throttle and the technique first.

The content of the line include:

• Competition Lifesaving with the opportunity to participate in rallies

• Kystlivredder- and pool lifeguard test.

• Swimming pool, lake and sea

• Agility

• Underwater Rugby and -hockey

• Water Polo

• Aquathlon and triathlon

• Games and water activities

• The four styles - back, chest, crawl and butterfly.

The course provides guaranteed challenges for both the experienced and the novice. And it is also for you, there is already a water dog!

You learn how to handle some situations that should go fast and you learn to recover a body over a distance of 150 meters.

In addition, you must also learn to hold their breath for at least 30 seconds on the bottom.

When you are trained as a lifeguard can be employed by TrygFonden to keep an eye on one of the nearly 100 beaches we have in Denmark with lifeguard towers.
