Many boys (and probably a few girls) have a dream of becoming a pilot or astronaut when they are young. But often the opportunities not to be, or they have some physical challenges that make that one can not be. But you can come close. You may be the one who makes sure that the equipment is in order.

As an aircraft mechanic can get to work with either fighter jets and transport aircraft. You, as an aircraft mechanic included in everything from prompt the aircraft before the pilot must facilitate, troubleshooting, replacement, repair, adjustment and function testing of airframes, aircraft engines and mechanical systems.

You can choose to work as part of the crew working on the planes a day, or work between 8-16 with maintenance. In education, you both had the schooling and training at a small airport.

Studying at the college taught you in aeronautical systems such as aerodynamics, turbine engine theory, hydraulics, mathematics, physics, avionics, etc. Early in the program takes you on practical stay where you learn about the Defence many types of aircraft to know. You will also undergo military training.

The program gives you civil competence as an aircraft mechanic in Denmark and other European countries approved by EASA. You can expect to be deployed to international missions after graduation.

• You have a basic training in the Army
• Has passed primary school with a minimum grade of 02 (6) in the subjects Danish, mathematics, physics and English.
• Visual acuity less than 6/12 binocular self-correction (glasses or contact lenses). At blindness (less than 6/180) of one eye when at least 6/9 of seeing eye with correction
• Colour vision "Danish standard colors" (DS 134: 160 colors and distinctive letter for use on drawings and piping)
• Can security clearance
