Is electronic music at a specific genre? Possibly, but in Jyderup School cultivates the just the music, electronic tools allows you to work with - so lets can be critics and music historians categorize then.
Therefore, there is room for you, although you are Depeche Mode, Radiohead, Cocorosie or have you been listening to Björk, The Knife or Malk de Koijn? Or if you might be struggling with large modular synthesizer modules and abstract sound installations?
There is no electronic music, there are "electronically enough." Are you doing hardcore psy-trance, minimalist electro-pop, dance hall or fl ippet 8-bit on your old Gameboy, you will have the opportunity to immerse yourself in your particular personal music universe and expression.
The facilities and teaching staff in Jyderup University can present a broad but highly qualified angle of the subject electronic music.
If you are more accustomed to using the computer's our studies designed to give you optimum conditions for your machine. When you walk into a room corresponds to step into your computer, and physical work with each of the available options. This gives you the opportunity to understand the real potential of using the computer as a musical instrument.
Jyderup University considers largely teaching as a forum for exchange of ideas, creative sparring and inspiration.
It's going to include to work with:
Production and recording.
- Composition and songwriting.
- Recording and microphone techniques.
- Mix and Mastering
- Approaches to live electronic music.
- Hacke and build their own instruments and hardware.
- Sampling and live sampling
- Remix and Looping
- Strengthen industry knowledge.
In addition, there will be of course a lot of nerdy and press the gear is pushed to the limit. There are jammed, co-writed and played a lot of concerts, both for each other and out of the house. The goal is not necessarily that you have produced 100 hours of music, but you immerse and develop yourself, right where you stand musically. You will be challenged on your creativity and your technical ability, and you get a few steps closer to finding the peace of your own approach to music and the creative process

Price:
1,400 kr. Per. week with food, accommodation and education.
1,000 kr. Per. week as a day student without room and board.
