Dramaturgy

Dramaturgy focuses on drama, which by virtue of theater, film and television is a big part of Danish everyday life and thus appropriate to study. On Dramaturgy study, you study drama in the form of theater and you will have to work with staging, where you will get an understanding of the interplay between spatial and bodily expressions. The study in dramaturgy will both take place in the form of theory and practice. You will get to study theater in all its breadth - from major professional performances of amateur theater. You will gain a great insight into theater history, aesthetic theories and you will even have to set up plays.

This gives you an expanded understanding of what theater can be and you will learn to be critical, experimental and creative. The entire interaction between elements of theater as theater, space, light and sound to be studied so that you know how it can be combined into a whole.
