If you do not quite think you are a carpenter potential, but does not want to sit in an office all day long, so it may be that the building technician are your element.
Bachelor education is about learning how to plan, design and coordinate construction tasks. Once on site, it is you who communicate architect descriptions out to carpenter and bricklayer when you speak both "languages".
Program is a 3 years long, but you can choose to stop after two years and call you build technician or surveying technician.
But you continue, and made you your bachelor your title Bachelor of building construction.
The degree program is available in both Danish and English, you might want to take it in English instead of to expand your options for international recruitment.
In training you receive practical and theoretical knowledge of the technical and administrative part of the building process. You learn about surveying, materials and condition assessment. You also get business knowledge, management and marketing etc.
Many craftsmen choose to retrain as building technician.
You also learn how to draw houses, and understand the device and the constructions of buildings, so you can be engaged in a drawing. You can be employed by construction companies, as the client or at an architectural firm. Last but not least, you can start a new business.
Job Opportunities
When finished trained building technician, you may be employed in engineering, construction and architectural firms, as well as in public services, where you can work with the planning of construction projects from proposal to finished project. You can include stand to draw and describe the construction or for the management during construction.
