CV - How to build a resume

It can be difficult to know how best to design a CV. Studenterguiden.dk will be here to help you on your way.

There is no real solution for how a resume should be designed in it, it is personal. However, there are some guidelines that can make itself well to follow. First you need to decide which of the following two guidelines you want to follow.

1. The function-based CV of the function-based CV, it is clear what can be, what skills you have and what experience you possess.

2. The chronological CV The chronological resume is the classic CV, which set by dates and jobs. It is always important to target your resume to the position you are looking for and it is easiest to target the function-based CV, as the chronological resume is rather static due. Layout by date. This does not mean that the chronological CV should not be used. It may look more sincere than it functionally divided for an employer and give the employer information about additional skills you may not have even realized could be used in the sought job.

Do you want to target your classified by function resume to a specific job or a particular company, so you can fit the order of the qualifications for the position. For example. seeking a position as sales manager, the management and sales work be one of the first headlines, whilst it may be lower, if the position of accountant you seek. A CV has the task to create an image of the employer of what you are for. It should show how your business process has been and what results you have accomplished in your way. Some experts will say you should avoid writing a resume that only lists titles and dates and take advantage of it classified by function.

However, we recommend you to evaluate what is most right for you and the business you are looking for a job at. Studenterguiden.dk will as a rule recommending that the more conservative you and the company you are looking for a job at, the more you should consider writing your CV chronologically. Are you contrast creative and looking for a creative job, for example. an advertising agency should consider the function divided.
