There are three different lines for Operational junior officers in the Air Force. The three lines are Combat Support Officer, Pilot and Control and Warning Officer. The basic training for officers is the same for all three lines and it focuses on leadership, tactics, physical education, etc. Once the base is complete, you must specialize in your line:
Combat support officer:
A Combat Support Officer is responsible for the physical to ensure aviation units, installation of communication for establishing airfields and much more. As Combat Support Officer you are responsible for a large number of soldiers to deal with very varying tasks. In line program, you learn to set up airfields, secure them and insert the security forces and the use of different types of weapons.
Pilot:
If you choose the line to the pilot in the Air Force trained you to fly, but also to plan missions, tactics and take responsibility for the flight and safety on board. Parts of this line should be in the US or Canada.
Control and warning officer:
As control and warning officer, you are the leader of a watchkeeping to ensure monitoring and control of military establishments and civilian traffic in the airspace. You will during training learn to take advantage of radar, procedures for tactical deployment of fighter jets as well as cooperation with other warning devices.
Geography:
The training takes place both in Karup and Ballerup. If you choose the line as a pilot, you mentioned having trained some of the time in the United States or Canada.
broadcast:
An officer will as a natural part of the work will be deployed to international missions. Typically it will be every 3 years.
Note:
If you choose the line to pilot the duration of the program six years and 12-year bond thereafter.
