As Millitærpolitisergent in the army, you will be asked assignments like the National Police. You will be trained both to solve problems for the army here in Denmark, but also abroad. Work for a Millitærpolitisergent in the army include police operations, traffic control operations, prisoner of war operations and security tasks include escorting tasks and VIP protection. In addition to that there will be a number of different tasks completed as required - at times in cooperation with the police. Training The training for Millitærpolitisergent in the army lasts 8 months and consists of a basic education, switching between combat training and education in the MP actual service. The program is particularly emphasis on sports with extensive training in self-defense, boxing, swimming, circuit training and strength training. You will also receive practical training as an instructor and trained in subjects such as pedagogy and teaching theory. On top of that are trained in various policing skills. The lessons are led by both Ċivili and military teachers with backgrounds in the form of law and police.
