The study Medicine is training you need tgae to become a doctor. It takes 6 years to complete the basic course and a further 18-month internship stay before you can post Cand.Med (medical) on your business card. During your training, you will gain insight into how the human body function and can be affected by treatment. You learn to diagnose diseases and the types of treatment that are appropriate. Medicine containing auxiliary as chemistry, mathematics and some physics. Part of the course is lectures in large auditorium and subsequently in smaller groups. There are also clinical trials in laboratories involved and internship at a hospital. Basically Medicine study is divided into four parts: * Basic Medical sciences (1st - 2nd semester) * Integrated Body Training (3rd - 5th semester) * Basic training in Medicine and Surgery (6th - 9th semester) Thesis Oriented Clinical training ( 10th - 12th semester)
basic Medical profession is a thorough introduction to the most basic subjects which every medical student should learn to be prepared for future developments.
Integrated body Training is about the body's internal organs such as stomach, intestines, liver, heart, brain, etc. . the course focuses on the following subjects: anatomy, biochemistry, physiology, pharmacology and general pathology. There is a method course associated with this course with subjects such as: TATISTICS, epidemiology, science and sociology. In slutnignen of this course you will be introduced to the clinical subjects and teaching will assume the nature of participation in the practical work in hospitals.
Basic training in Medicine and Surgery is about medicine and surgery as well as behavioral and methodology courses (including science and epidemiology) and is rated for two years. The two year consists partly of clinical stay, partly of more formalized training through integrated, thematic courses. The courses are also included subjects such as pharmacology, microbiology and pathological anatomy. On
Thesis Oriented Clinical Basic training, you work with the more specialty oriented part of basic education. The classes include in psychiatry, forensic medicine, gynecology and children's illnesses. After you have completed the tutorial, you on the rota stay. Once you have completed your internship stay you have the opportunity to choose a specialization direction. It takes about 3-6 depending on the specialization you choose. So in many ways Medicine an education that continues throughout life.

After you have completed the 6-year educational program you record on a 18-month internship stay before you can seek work as an independent physician. The rotation scheme is done by you appointed as Registrar at a Danish hospital.
