Chemistry

Chemistry is a traditional scientific discipline with roots dating back to the ancient Greeks. Chemistry is about the different substances our world is composed of and their mutual interaction. Chemicals used in almost all situations in our daily lives - the food we eat and the products we use in the household has a specific chemical profile.

Chemists are especially popular in the pharmaceutical industry since many drugs requires a thorough knowledge of the chemical processes in the human body. Part of teaching the program assumes that you subsequently verifies the theory in the laboratory through experiments. For Chemistry Education also includes ancillary subjects such as mathematics, physics and IT.

Chemistry program is a mixture of theoretical and practical work to perform experiments in laboratories, where the focus is on studies of chemical reactions and molecular structure. As a chemist, you work a lot with testing and research, but chemistry is an exciting discipline that will allow the curious students a fun experience and skills which open doors to many interesting job opportunities.

The first year of training is called a "Science-" and here you will gain a broad introduction to many exciting scientific disciplines in Chemistry program. As a chemist, it is natural after working with research, but chemists also find employment in the pharmaceutical industry and the general opportunities in the private sector really good.

Chemistry is all very much on tests and experiments in order to obtain a better knowledge of materials, molecules behind and their intermolecular interactions. But Chemistry is also about the further development of old fabrics or design new substances for use in industry or for new products. With a focus on substances intermolecular interactions provide the training you a broad foundation for solving a range of industry-relevant problems. For example, the development of new polymers and inorganic materials, separation techniques and smart molecules for controlled release of drugs.

So Chemistry is an exciting education where you have the opportunity to use your passion for science to practice trial and find answers to contemporary questions - also you get an education with really good job opportunities especially in the private sector such as the pharmaceutical industry.
