When you choose to specialize in Design of Mechanical Systems, so you get to use your creative and technical skills to developing and designing industrial products. You will gain insight into a wide range of design tools - from classical engineering disciplines like design of machine structures for experimental techniques and advanced materials and the handling of the latest computer-based design and calculation tools. You also have the opportunity to work with areas such as composite materials, virtual prototyping, biomechanics and nanotechnology. The teaching method is still "learning-by-doing" in cooperation with companies in practical projects.
