Training of occupational therapist is about the man who is ill or has an accident, and the tools that can help them in their everyday lives.
Occupational Therapy is a professional program which means that you also have a half-year internship with the process.
Through the study, you learn about anatomy and physiology, as well as social and health sciences. In addition, you also learn about education and psychology, as much of man's physical well-being and management of the physical properties are rooted in the psyche. Since you have with people is just also very important to know some educational tools so that you have a broader understanding of different people's perception of communication and learning. It is important to be able to adapt its dissemination of the knowledge you possess in a way that the individual understands.
After graduation working occupational therapist typically in hospitals, private clinics or helping people in their own home with the decor and teknikske help tools that make life easier for them.
There are also some occupational therapists who work as independent. Here it is often businesses or the public, who orders them to help their employees find the best posture, so they do not destroy themselves in the work.

Special admission requirements
You must have one of the following programs to apply for admission: -Higher preparatory examination (hf), higher commercial examination (HHX), higher technical examination (HTX), secondary school (stx) or eux -gymnasialt program for non native speakers (GIF) -social- and health education (step 2) with Danish C, C English and science C -4 upper secondary school single, and additionally 9 months of work experience. Note: Subjects that are specific admission requirements must be passed.
Application deadlines
The program is connected to the coordinated enrollment system (KOT). You can apply for admission in either quota 1 or quota 2. quota 1 you will be included on the basis of your upper secondary exam. If there are more applicants than there are places, occupies to those with the highest grade point average. The application deadline is July 5 pm. 12:00. In quota 2 you will be included in your overall qualifications, including any qualifying training. Examine the detailed selection criteria at the individual school. The application deadline is March 15 at. 12:00. Applicants with foreign and international exams must also apply before March 15. The program begins on February 1st and September 1st.
