English as a tutorial is much more than just language is English. It is English culture as BBC and the popular debate program Hard Talk, Shakespeare dramas as MacBeth and King Lear, English Britpop as Oasis or Blur and indeed all cultural areas with British or American influences. Since the English language is an important part of our lives, both through TV programs and consumer products, there is always need people with knowledge of the language, but also about England as a country and culture. The fields you are going to get acquainted with include English as a language, social science and history relationship, literature and text science, culture, science and more. Aalborg's English education is the only one in Denmark, where it has a culture of its own scientific dimension and also the only one that works with a broad concept of text that includes both traditional literature as texts in other genres and media.

Special admission requirements

Danish A-level English A-level, either history B level idehistorie level B or Contemporary History B-level as well as an additional language at A level, but only B level in the case of a continuation language.
