Electrical Engineering is an education where you have the opportunity to work with the technology behind, and the development of advanced electronic products such as robots, power supplies, satellites, integrated circuits, mobile phones and more. You get a thorough introduction to digital and analog electronics, electromagnetism, programming and microprocessors.
The study also places great emphasis on skills in mathematics and physics, so these subjects are in focus. Some of the subjects that you want to work with the program: Digital Electronics, Electrical Technology, Acoustics Automation, Analog Electronics, Wireless Communication and many more exciting subjects.
You get a basic knowledge about everything related with electrical circuits to do. Including electromagnetics, among other things, be used in the wind turbine systems and many other contexts.
Electromagnetism father, HC Ørsted, would welcome where many of the contemporary electronic instruments and devices which make use of his discovery. He was aware that it was something big, but he probably has not had the imagination to WHERE big it was.
HC Ørsted was also instrumental in the creation of educational direction The Polytechnical College, which later became the DTU. Therefore, it is also at DTU that you can be trained in Electrical Engineering.
Moreover, you will be taught in four areas:
- The natural sciences, such as physics and mathematics.
- All the main subjects include subjects with electronics including circuits and systems.
- Bachelor Project, including science, engineering, general subjects and projects.
- Elective courses.
When you finish training you receive title Bsc.
Job Opportunities
Most civil engineers will pursue education with a master's degree in order to increase the chances of employment, as well as a much higher salary.
