Gymnastics and Sports School at Viborg is the only school in the country that has a SSI-certified dive center. It allows you to take an SSI Open Water Diver certificate as part of your high school stay. You can also expand your diving skills with Advanced adventurer Open Water.

If you take both courses, you get the chance minimum 20 dives.

Diving trip to the Red Sea
Once you've practiced here at home, it is possible to go to Malta, which is purely a Mecca for divers partly because of all the shipwrecks that are around the island. Here you can experience the ultimate sense of freedom among dolphins and dive on the reefs, caves and shipwrecks!
The trip to Malta are not included in the school stay, but it's worth every penny.

An SSI diving course provides a basic knowledge of diving and access to unfold as recreational diving. The course consists of three parts: theory, diving pool and diving in open water.

International certificates
SSI certificates are international and can be used worldwide. Safety comes first! We only use experienced instructors and equipment of high standard.

Open Water and Advanced Adventurer
At SSI Open Water Diver course you will have the basic knowledge about diving, which you need as a recreational diver. The course consists of a theoretical part, a pool portion and an open-water part.

If you choose to also take superstructure Advanced Adventurer Open Water, you get top 5 exciting kursusdyk which Deep • and navigationsdyk are mandatory. In the last three dives we recommend wreck, drift dives and boat dives.
