Bachelor's degree in computer engineering and IT is to learn to work with the development of networks and larger systems that are put together, how software and hardware to work together closely. You get knowledge network like the Internet, surveillance systems and the development of device drivers, inter alia, robots, vehicles and helicopters.

Difference in this program and Master of Science in Computer Engineering is to be hospitalized and a half-year internship at the diploma program. In addition there is also a little more focus on electronics, so you get to work a little more with the hardware than the software and you will be working more with measurements of systems, rather than programming. There will also be training in programming and system design.

The practical training shall be made in a relevant company, and it's a good idea to find a mid-sized company where you think there are good opportunities for permanent employment afterwards, or that you simply can use as reference if you have participated in some projects.

It is optional if the training period is paid by the operator. If it is unpaid, you can still get SU in this period.

The program is offered in both Odense and Aalborg.

There is a great need for data technicians of any kind, as systems become more and more digitized. So you have good opportunities for employment afterwards, and will be preferred rather than competing programs, since you have an internship in your luggage.

You will typically be able to find work in IT companies, manufacturing and engineering companies. You will also be able to find jobs as a consultant, project manager or seller.
