The story of the largest accounting and consulting firm dates back more than 100 years. Below is a selection of important events in Deloitte's history:
2005: Leo Olsen & Dalgaard become part of Deloitte
Deloitte and the Funen firm of Leo Olsen & Dalgaard merge. The merger means that Deloitte become the clear market leader in audit and business consulting on Funen.
2004: Deloitte
With the dawn of the new year will be Deloitte & Touche Deloitte. The new logo with the little green dot indicates that Deloitte is an integrated accounting and consulting firm with a wide range of consulting services.
2003: Deloitte & Touche Business Consulting
January 31 included Deloitte Consulting again in the Danish Deloitte & Touche firm after having been part of the global Deloitte Consulting since 1999. Deloitte & Touche Business Consulting has now over 100 consultants.
2002: Denmark's largest accounting and consulting firm
June 1 takes Deloitte & Touche assets and activities in the Danish sector of the global accounting firm Andersen. Deloitte & Touche is thereby the largest accounting and consulting firm.
2000: Deloitte & Touche on the verge of the next millennium
Deloitte & Touche is one of the largest accounting and consulting firms with 26 offices across the country and in Greenland. The number of employees at the millennium is 1,500, of whom about 250 are auditors.
1999: Deloitte Consulting is formed
Deloitte Consulting is formed as a global company with 14,000 consultants in 75 countries.
1994: Deloitte & Touche Chartered Public Accountants established
The company changes its name to Deloitte & Touche Chartered Public Accountants to highlight international cooperation with Deloitte Touche Tohmatsu.
1990: Denmark's largest auditor fusion
RFI and Schoebel & Marholt join forces and continue under the name Schoebel & Marholt. Almost simultaneously merges also the two companies' respective foreign partners Deloitte Haskins & Sells and Touche Ross.
1987: The IPO of RFI ceases
Revisions Institute's Fund redeem all minority shareholders for 30 million. kr., becoming the sole shareholder. The IPO of RFI's shares ends.
1977 Nationwide network of offices started
New establishment of an RFI's office in Aarhus will be the first newcomer to a network of offices in the province of RFI.
1967: Establishment of the United Accounting firms
HE Olesen is the prime mover in the establishment of the United Accounting firms. This company merged later with Schoebel & Marholt.
1953: Revisions Institute's Fund founded
Revisions Institute's Foundation is founded with the aim to preserve RFI as an independent audit.
1925 Schoebel & Marholt
The oldest parts of the accounting firm Schoebel & Marholt can be traced back to the 1925th
1923 to inclusion of the Audit Office in Aarhus
In 1899, the firm Audit Office in Aarhus created. After one owner, A. Andersen was dead, decided the second owner PT Hald to deliver it to the RFI in the 1923rd
1912: Audit and management Foundation formed
Revision Bank, the listed company's Audit and Administration Institute (RFI), founded
