With a degree in Civil Engineering the way is open for you as developer. You get to work with the planning and construction of cities, housing estates, bridges, roads and port facilities. The study is an introduction to how you as developer or contractor for the planning, design and construction of structures to go up in a larger unit and succeeded.

There are so many aspects of starting a construction project, and you gain the knowledge necessary to manage the inflow of materials, as well as the practical behavior of the projected construction. Building technology is therefore about creating sustainable solutions to very complex problems in the construction of major projects such as bridges and cities. You taught therefore the basic mathematics, IT and physics, so you are well prepared for the rest of the study, which requires hard work.

Some of the subjects that you want to work with the program: Construction Technology, Materials Science, Urban Planning, Geotechnical, Concrete, Frame Structures, Structural Mechanics and many more interesting subjects.

You work with to find the strength of the materials and find out which materials best suited to use for your building project.

Will work in groups, so you can learn how to work with project later, when it is much of the work will be done with. As consulting engineers need to know how to ask the right questions and come up with the right solutions, and at the same time you must also be able to communicate this to the others in the project team.

Work with new technology to traditional problems and created new solutions. It's everything from climate to urban planning.

The program is very similar to Master of Science in Construction Engineering, which you can take on the SDU.
