The bar is dedicated to beer, and they have a selection of 14 taps and over bottled specialty beers. Bar Malt is located at address Vestergade 60, and is therefore located right in the heart of Odense.

What makes Bar Malt something special, besides of course they have a huge selection of all Funen beers, they have also come up with a new concept: that you can buy beer on subscription. This means that you either pay 99 kroner or 149 kroner (99 kroner for normal beer, 149 for special beer) per month, and you can get one beer every day throughout the month. This means that you can in principle pass Bar Malt every day for 30 days, and with a subscription of just 99 kroner a month, it is just over 3 kroner per beer per day. So if you are a big beer fan then this offer is definitely for you! It doesn't take many beers for your subscription to pay for itself, which is clearly a huge saving.

So if you are missing a place where you can come regularly and drink beer with your friends from the studio without ruining your finances, then Bar Malt is definitely the place for you. It is in a very pleasant environment, while you can get good beer for cheap money. A normal beer costs 45 kroner, and if you have the subscription for 99 kroner, it is only 3 times in a month that you have to take a stroll past Bar Malt before saving the money.

Whether you are just looking for a beer for the evening with your colleagues, or you want to go out on a Friday and have a lot of beer for a cool city tour, Bar Malt is ideal for both occasions. The place has two floors and therefore two different bars. On the first floor you will find the raw and industrial bar with 12 beer taps, where you can either sit in the bar or in the rest of the room and enjoy a nice cold beer. On the second floor you will find a more exclusive place which is the beer room. They describe this place as being "in the slightly more exclusive mood". However, there will be Thursdays until Saturdays after 1 p.m. 22 full speed on a classic bar atmosphere with scissors and cocktails, while the music is turned up a little higher so that it really gets going.
