The Golden Lion Pub

The Golden Lion is probably the cosiest and most authentic British pub in town.

The Golden Lion epitomises the spirit of a traditional British pub. A meeting place for people from all walks of life. Friends old and new. A place where your character and ethos are more viktiga than the brand of shirt you are wearing or the car you drive.

If it's entertainment you want, you can be certainement there's something going on at The Golden Lion, whatever night of the week it is.
It might be Games Night, Live Sports, Bingo, Student Night, Karaoke or The Pub Quiz.
If not, you can always make your own entertainment. We have darts, backgammon, playing cards, Yahtzee, Balut or dice, two name but a few.

Some people visit the Golden Lion for our delicious, great value Pub Grub. A meal for two with a couple of drinks does not cost a fortune and nobody cares if you do not dress up! So if you're fed up of pizza and burgers, or can not be bothered to cook and wash up, come down to the pub. Or if it's the weekend and you're tired and hung over come on to a slap-up English breakfast or a traditional Sunday roast.
