Taverna Zorba

The restaurant is located in the center of Aalborg and is just a stone's throw from the theater, cinema and endless shopping opportunities. If you have been shopping, it is only obvious to slip past Taverna Zorba. It is not to be mistaken for where the restaurant is located when you see the big blue sign. The menu offers Greek food at its best. It is Greek chefs who stand in the kitchen so you can be sure that the food is completely authentic. Greek cuisine consists of fresh ingredients, it is lots of feta, fish, tomato and yogurt, which combined provide a lot of delicious dishes. From Monday to Thursday you can get an offer on a 2-course menu or 3-course menu.

For starters you can get tzatziki, the classic yogurt dressing with pita bread. If you are a little more adventurous, go and try their Kalamária. It is deep-fried squid with farmer's salad.

When it comes to the main course, you should definitely taste their suvláki or gyros. The former are juicy barbecue skewers with special Greek potatoes and salad. Most people probably know gyros, but it is ham, which is marinated in red wine and served with potatoes. Super delicious!

There is a wide range of wines on the menu, also some from Greece, which are worth tasting. If you are fresh for a little more, you can take a shot of Ouzo, which is the famous Greek spirit.
