Tårnby Boldklub
Amager Boldklub af 1970 and Tårnby Boldklub have the common aim of creating a framework for members' worship of sports. As both football clubs therefore have the same scope, the clubs 'view that a merger will provide better opportunities to its members' interests for both breadth and elite sports. Therefore AB Tårnby founded and merged from 1 January 2009.
DBU and KBU has in recent years created a number of significant changes in talent development work, and not least in tournament structure. These changes mean that a football club should have a clear organization in place, and that the coaches for the best youth teams must have a certified coach education. The challenges could neither Tårnby Boldklub or Amager Boldklub af 1970 match.
A new football club in Amager is based on the merger of Tårnby Boldklub and Amager Boldklub of 1970. Together, we will meet the challenge and make the club, which meets all the members and provides space for the best to develop. Together we have the strength to get first division status on both women's and men senior side and create the core of the good companionship.
The new football club is finally a fusion, which is not only based on the elite, but rather in the social and width. The new ball club is for young people and those who love football. Therefore become part of the community.
The goal of Ab Tårnby is a strong girl and ladies' department. Our girls play in some of the top ranks, there is a strong woman senior team, so actually could Ab Tårnby become the best girl football club in Copenhagen. It will mean DM place for the best U 18 girls and U 15 girls will also play in the elite ranks, so the road is subject to a cooperation with our sponsors.
Our boy's youth is well on the way, we have one of Copenhagen's best vintages in 1996, 1995 and 1994. Here are several of the players already part of the established talent training as DBU implements for the best talent. Furthermore then our U 17 boys among the best and our U 19 boys are in Mesterrækken. With more than 500 young boys in AB Tårnby, there is both quality and space for the social.
