At the master's of Sociology program you will quickly put on a bit of a challenge as the sociological subjects in the last two years is not a piece of cake. It is advanced sociological study methods where you make and analyzing interviews with subjects and processes the results via computer programs to eventually draw decisive conclusions.

You get to immerse yourself in how society is organized and analyze the structure and evolution of society, about the social processes and use methods and theories you learned to find solutions to the sociological issues.

Although the work can sometimes seem overwhelming, do not worry as you slowly but surely learn to work focused and you will then soon see that your knowledge of sociology develops explosively. You also have the unique opportunity to take an internship at a foreign university or research institution. Your final thesis can be written in collaboration with a company or a consulting firm, since it is highly relevant partners and potential employers later.

The program Sociology is emphasized specialization and concentration of individual elements within a specific study topic. University of Copenhagen says that there are four lines as a candidate can choose from:

- Political Sociology

- Organisation, Management and Labour

- Method

- Cultural Sociology

You are not required to specialize within these lines, but when you come a long way through the program and find out which specialization you find most relevant to your future job prospects, so you can select it and targeted focus on the area.

It also gives you an opportunity to call you specifically this your line is called.
