Rumbo is applied for a new housing association per 1/9 or 1/10
Between Copenhagen and Roskilde, surrounded by beautiful nature, is a newly started community with shared utility gardens, car sharing, workshop, studio and much more. Here I have found an apartment with room for 2, so now I just need a rumbo to create a home with. Is it you? I AM Manja (26 years old): On a Sunday at home, you will often find me immersed in a new creative project or in the garden, where I water, plant and enjoy the budding life. I have studied to be a teacher in, among other things, visual arts and outdoor life at The Free Teacher Training School on Sydfyn, but even though Sydfyn is lovely, I miss the large communities that Copenhagen hides. I dream i.a. about being able to participate in climate activism, LGBTQ + parties, go to lectures and concerts. I have to take art courses in Copenhagen until I start studying again next summer. This (corona) summer I have held a small dance party in my garden, been exploring in Jutland's second-hand shops, bought a kalimba that I dream of learning to play, heard podcasts about anti-racism and roasted many marshmallows over a fire. PLUSHUSENE BOFÆLLESSKABET Our apartment is part of the newly started community, Plushusene. It is located in Hedehusene surrounded by beautiful nature and with less than 20 minutes to KBH Central Station and 10 minutes to Roskilde by train. Both young people, families with children and the elderly live in the 139 homes in the Plus Houses. We share utility gardens, orangery, car sharing and a large communal house. Fælleshuset has events, workshop, studio, gym, guest rooms, ball games room, lounge and a dining room where you can dine several times a week. We have access to everything as it is part of the rent. To live here, you must have a desire to take part in the community - in your own way, of course. We'll be on the lease together. The apartment is 81 m2. It is lovely bright with large windows out to our private garden. We have our own washing machine, dryer, dishwasher and a shed for extra storage. We live right next to the common house, the utility gardens and the orangery. Your room is 8 m2 2 with a south-facing window facing the green communal garden. The rent will be DKK 5,800 including electricity, water and heating - with housing benefit it will be around DKK 5,300 (I pay DKK 6,000 myself, as my room is 1.5 m2 larger.) Deposit and prepaid rent = DKK 20,609 in total. WHO ARE YOU? I am looking for a rumbo who is around 24-35 years old. You should preferably receive SU or similar, so we can apply for housing benefit. You have a desire to live here for a long time and to participate in the community in the Plus Houses in your very own way. You want to invest time and energy in our community in the apartment. It could, for example, be on the grill on the terrace, shared dinners, garbage trips, birthday cakes, mornings with the Weekend newspaper and evenings with movies. At the same time, I enjoy alone time, and when you can sit together in silence, immersed in each project. I want a home where we live together and not just next to each other - with a good balance between being able to take care of our own everyday life and the community in our small home.
