Clinical Pharmacy is an education which focuses up research and development of new drugs and drugs for the pharmaceutical industry. An important aspect of the training is to be able to authenticate drugs, so patients are not at risk of being misused in the long term. You will among other things get acquainted with the following subjects: human pathophysiology (the study of the human organism), pathology, pharmacology (the study of medicinal effect on the human organism), biostatistics. Undervisningene takes place at the Faculty of Medicine and the teachers, doctors and clinical pharmacists. There will also be the opportunity for internships at clinical departments during the training.

Job opportunities are good as a graduate both in public syghusvæsen but also privately employed in the pharmaceutical industry.

Special admission requirements

The admission requirement for the MSc in Clinical Pharmacy is a Bachelor's degree in Pharmacy or a Bachelor's degree in pharmaceutical sciences with a minor in Pharmaceutics at least 45 ECTS.
