Clinical Biomechanics - Chiropractor

When people have damaged their joints or muscles, and some have set themselves trapped, for example in the back, so they must be repositioned without damaging anything further in the body. As a chiropractor, you learn how to deal with these muscle and joint diseases, so you can help patients in need.

You get to practice your fellow students as well as real patients.

In order to treat patients properly is not enough to experiment with the practical. You also need to know the theory about what happens when you are dealing with and what muscles and bones that can bear the load.

It is especially people who must be rehabilitated after a whiplash or a fall from a horse, you get to work with, as well as older people.

You will also learn how to teach your patients to prevent their spine or other joints and muscles come in bad positions again so they avoid having to go to the chiropractor all the time.

The program is divided into three tracks.

  1. In the biomedical track you will be taught throughout the human body from the smallest cell to the broadly. You learn how the body develops by influences such as nutrition, movement and other elements that come into play. In addition, you will also learn about the brain and how the senses affect the body. Some of the subjects you get is molecular biology, genetics, biochemistry, anatomy, physiology, pharmacology, microbiology, immunology, pathology and epidemiology.
  2. The second track is the professional track, which is a more theoretical track. Here's biomechanics and neurological conditions in the center. Furthermore, you come out and work in a clinic as part of the training.
  3. The last track is the academic track, which is mostly about the written work, you also have to do with. Here you can among other things learn how best to seek information and how you use scientific methods to reach conclusions.
