Stage Director's complex craft is heading based course, which lasts 2½ years and is the longest of the school's basic training. There is no age restriction.

Here, students learn core working methods as text analysis, instruction and communication and are introduced to important fields such as light, sound and music. In addition, test their new knowledge into practice in a number of productions and teaching supplemented with theory of theater history and ideas and cultural history.

On the superstructure, the students specialize according to their personal interests and create at least three performances at school or at a professional theater.

The training instructor working extensively with a variety of methods. The psychophysical theater work forms the foundation of the first part of the program through Konstantin Stanislavsky system, method for the merchant analysis and method of physical actions.

Students will also be introduced to different ways of working within the physical and visual theater work where they develop their ability to create from pictorial, physical or spatial perspectives.

The students already cooperate during training with the theater's different professional groups and learn how to integrate all the performance's elements into a whole and act as a supervisor in a multidisciplinary context.

Instructor Training combines practical learning with theoretical knowledge and provide space for the students during their studies can seek out subjects, teachers and teaching methods to suit the individual.

The students developed in close dialogue with their education leader and educators who also regularly evaluate their professional development. The program has no traditional examinations.

Job Opportunities

The instructor is the artistic director of the work on an idea from concept through preparation and rehearsals for the final presentation to an audience. The director works closely with the set designer and other artistic colleagues and heads the rehearsals with the actors and other employees.
