Indology is the study of Indian society, history, religion, culture and languages ​​Sanskrit and Pali.
The language of instruction is primarily in Danish, but some courses are taught in English. The exams conducted in Danish as well as English.

The program Indology aims to give students a basic mastery of Sanskrit and Pali language and basic theoretical knowledge about important aspects of Indian society, history, culture and language. The students become familiar with methodological aspects of the scientific study of Indian society, history, culture and language. The student must be able to independently seek knowledge about India and articulate this knowledge in tasks.

Master's degree in Indology (also called Asian Studies) has a 2-year duration and follow up on the lessons from the bachelor. You will get further knowledge of relevant historical conditions, and you will improve your skills in the languages ​​Sanskrit and Pali. Offered some subjects which you are free to choose and create an individual academic profile.

You can choose to extend your studio with a relevant subsidiary subject. These include: sociology, anthropology or economics.

You can use the training to become a teacher, become a translator, or you can arrange contacts for companies to Indian firms, as you become familiar with the culture.
