India has the world's largest population and one of the world's largest population growths. Europe has acted with India since the Middle Ages and trade therewith will only increase as the size of the market grows. In order to get the best conditions for trade, cultural understanding and linguistic understanding some important elements.
Indology is the study of Indian history, culture, language and society. There are two languages that you as a student to learn to read and write Sanskrit and Pali. You're going to read some literature and topics of the two languages and especially classical texts of Buddhism and Hinduism written in Sanskrit or Pali. Beside language teaching you will learn about India's history and unique cultural heritage. During the first year, you work intensively with the teaching and then you turn to read the actual texts in Sanskrit and Pali.
You will also get a great insight into Indian religion such as Buddhism and Hinduism. Fascinates the Indian culture you, then Indology an obvious study.
It will be very obvious to teach in a college or start a shop selling Indian goods.

Special admission requirements
Danish A, English B, History B or History of Ideas B or Contemporary History B. Do not have skills in India, follow a beginners (introductory courses) in Sanskrit so that the bachelor's program total is four years.
