Where does language come from? What we have in common with the Indian language? And how the language has evolved over time? To get answers to these questions can take a bachelor of Indo-European.
Indo-European is the study of Indo-European languages and their mutual fellowship. Indo-European is a language family of about 150 languages and language base for over 3 billion people.
You would not think it, but English, Hindi, German and Urdu, the Indo-European language tribe in common with many others, and diversified language. The studio's focus is on linguistics and phonetics - the science of language and its pronunciation forms. You begin by studying older languages like Latin, Ancient Greek, Old Indian and Gothic. Based on knowledge of the nucleus within the languages you work on with linguistic theory and linguistic theories of the different languages. The idea of training in Indo-European is that you qualify to work grammar, linguistics and phonetic with Indo-European languages - knowledge you can use in a linguistic context. Your main work will point in the direction of research, translation or assessment of older texts.
You get a basic knowledge of the Indo-European languages and can draw comparisons in various oldsprog.
The program comprises the first year of teaching introductory courses in Greek, Latin and Sanskrit and subsequent years include the basic sprogundervisningsfag, supplemented by about a year of the elective studies.

Danish A, English B, History B or History of Ideas B or Contemporary History B. Bachelor of Indo-European demands that you took Latin, Greek and Sanskrit at B level (3/4 year intensive course).
