If you have taken the 3-year bachelor degree in sport and you have the courage to continue with a Master's degree, but you want that it takes a turn towards a more muscular and work-related aspect, so you can choose Human Physiology.
Human Physiology is an education where the academic focus is on human physiology and the impact of physical activity and diet / nutrition has on the body and health. You will learn many fascinating aspects of human physiology for example. how muscles respond by repetitive physical stress and what consequences it may have for exposed areas like the lower back or neck.
You also learn about how the brain affects the muscles and how muscles regulates the proteins they receive.
The nutritional aspect is clearly expressed in the diet we consume - here you will learn to understand the interaction between nutrients and human health, performance and metabolism. Of the more advanced subjects may mention Neurobiology, cellular signaling and endocrinology.
You will get to learn about different working physiological methods and techniques in molecular biology. Additionally, you will get to work with GM and cells.
A prerequisite for studying Human Physiology is a bachelor's degree in sports science, either as initial training or as a 1-year elective.
