Grundtvig's School of Frederiksborg

In Grundtvig's School creates a unique community because everyday life, education and social life is fluid. School is driven by desire and teachers 'and students' curiosity about the subjects and each other. This is reflected both in the academic and in the social space. You are constantly discovering new aspects of the others ... and yourself.

Everyday life at school
Each day starts with a morning session in which the whole school assembled and singing a song. Then, holding a teacher or a student a short statement that they want to share with the rest of the school. It's a great way to start your day.

After class, the school setting for a number of volunteer activities and offers. For example, paint shop, music room, computer and gym is always open for your convenience. In addition there are weekly specials. Here among yoga and "get in shape"

Lectures, parties and concerts
School is the focal point for a wide range of current debates and lectures. With, for example. Clement Kjersgaard, Martin Hall, Ulla Terkelsen and Sovndal, which comes out at the school and lectures, or sitting in a panel with some of the country's best in a given field.

Thursday Café is a weekly cafe evening. Here both concerts and theater trips to such Gasworks, but also play evenings, poetry-slam or theater sports. We have regularly concerts by example. DJ Noize, Per Vers, Seabear, The Raveonettes, Giana Factory and Tue West.

On weekends organizes teachers and students shared activities such as theme-Saturdays, film club, sports activities and parties. Every other weekend is without an official program where the students responsible for the activities and about 2 times a month, there are weekend off. Here you are of course welcome to stay at the school where there is always a lot!
