General Foodstuffs Line
On the line General Foodstuffs Line you have the opportunity to specialize in a particular discipline. It can be Technology, Microbiology, Chemistry or Quality. The first year includes an obligatory theme course where you choose the theme from 6-7 offered themes. For example, is trading theme "Meat as a Raw Material " for the purchase as an ingredient in food. Specifically, you will learn about the muscular physiology, biology and structure in order to increase product quality when you use meat in food. It includes education in the chemical structures and processes, as well as nutritional content and composition. The rest of the courses you can choose from, so-called core courses where interesting subjects among others Sensory and Consumer Science, Milk Processing, Advanced Chemical Food Safety and Food Enzymes and Applications is available. There is often 10-15 subjects to choose from.
