Management is the study of how the state's various activities are planned and executed in the optimal way for all parties and stakeholders. Management involves all the challenges that our democratic state structure face in these times. It may be problems in the economy, integration, national security, public health, education, research and technology development, the establishment of a sustainable knowledge society, resource and raw material security and many more. Common to all of these tasks is that you as a student of management will be working with the administration of the state and its resources at a high level. Some of the subjects which are taught in the Management: - The WTO mellom an International Regime and a Transnational Governance Network - Conflict Resolution - Legal proceedings - Globalization, European Integration and Varieties of Capitalism - Work and recognition in the public sector - National Accounting and Macroeoconomic Case Studies - Political upheaval in the left / right orientation / parties and values - poststructuralist analysis strategy You learn identify potential and actual management problems in the state, and how they are best handled and resolved. Management contains a large element of choice and you are free to compose your training.
