Civil Engineering is an exciting education that teaches you all the aspects necessary for its putting construction in work and complete it. A structural engineer starts with an idea for a building and so the skills to realize it.
The process extends from the vision of a building drawings of building and calculations of stability and durability, and finally to coordinate and manage the actual physical construction. During the study mathematics and IT (computer as an indispensable tool) a substantial portion, and you will be working a great deal of time in project units. The subjects range from construction, energy, water & environment and Road & Traffic Engineering.
On the 5th and 6th semester of the program you can choose between four specializations:
Building & Civil Engineering
Indoor Environment & Energy
Water & Environment
Roads and Traffic Engineering.
If you choose Bachelor of Civil Engineering, you get exactly the same subjects but also a period of practical training before the completion of the 7th semester. Thus, Diploma and a half years longer than Bachelor's degree.
The opportunities for employment with a Bachelor's degree is limited. Most students choose to supplement with a master's degree.
