Agricultural Development

Agricultural Development can be easily added to predicate a "idealistic " education, especially because you are helping to create a better livelihood for the poorest people in the world. As the name suggests, the Agricultural Development an English language program, which focuses on creating sustainable development in agriculture in developing countries. You learn during the 2 years of the program, both how to work with the development of forestry and agriculture in developing countries how to create a sustainable environment for the local population, the social changes a dawning industrialization leads to how economic development will benefit the whole society, the best way to ensure food security and many other essential issues. The teaching method is quite unconventional, as you as students get to work immediately with students from other universities in small interdisciplinary groups - the topic of the group is a particular problem in developing countries. During the joint project, your group on a practical field work in the country, allowing you to see the problem firsthand and not just read about it in a book. Agricultural Development is an incredible educational training that really gets your eyes to the inequalities in our world, but also gives you the opportunity to make a difference.


Job Opportunities

You can become a consultant in Danish or international organization notes that are involved in development - such as Danida, FAO and UNEP. You can also find employment in NGO organizations involved in relief work in 3-world countries - for example, DanChurchAid and CARE.



Special admission requirements

Admission requires a Bachelor's degree in one of the following educational programs: natural resources, Food Science, Horticulture, Landscaping, Forest and Landscape Engineer, Agricultural Economics, Biology, Biochemistry, Environmental Chemistry, Geography or equivalent education.
