EVejledning celebrates its first birthday by taking social media use. Facebook is now in use to provide educational and vocational guidance.

EVejledning so far has guided the chat, telephone, mail and SMS, expands the line and now adds social media to the possibilities. It coincides with eVejledning celebrates its first birthday as a very successful guidance center. So far 70,000 users received instructions here. Facebook manual is done by writing questions and comments on eVejlednings wall. Where other manual types takes place in a closed dialogue between the user and the supervisor will guide Facebook in an open and others can interfere in the debate, engage in dialogue or give advice. One can also choose to simply be a spectator of others debate. - We want the youth to inspire each other by coming up with good advice or tell how they handle the problem himself. This means that we supervisors will have a completely different role, we need to be facilitators and ensure that what is written is correct. And if we can see that a debate is the very private nature, may we suggest the guidance seekers continue the conversation in a closed chat room with the supervisor, says eVejledningschef Kirsten Hahn Larsen. New research has shown that it provides a fertile guidance process when multiple participant. That young people like to have, and the type of guidance is very useful for them. - Young people want to mirror themselves and see how others have done, explains Kirsten Hahn Larsen. When eVejledning goes Facebook the way it is thus not to visualize themselves but to provide guidance in a new way. - We would like to try to guide other than the traditional one-to-one conversation. We will spread it out so that guidance becomes something completely different, where others can mingle and where to get a dynamic that says Kirsten Hahn Larsen.
