The Organic Boho

It is popular to be organic and vegan, especially among young people. The café The Organic Boho in Copenhagen has found out. The café is owned by two Danish sisters who have developed the concept for the cafe, which is based on being plant-based, sustainable and holistic. The café is therefore not just a café, but a place where you can inspire each other to live a more sustainable lifestyle. The Organic Boho was nominated for the City's Best Green Meal in 2018 and 2019, so the café in Christianshavn is a hit among both Copenhageners and tourists.   

When you enter the cafe's website you are greeted by colorful and plant-based food. And that's also what you can expect when you enter the cafe. Here, plant-based food is written on the menu, and even the biggest meat lover will be hungry by their vegan burgers.  

On their plant-based and organic menu, you can start the day off with their rainbow brunch. Here you can get a breakfast bowl, avocado, pancakes and the delicious sweet   potato fries with chilimayo . Although there is neither meat nor dairy products in their food, they do not compromise on quality.  

If you are thirsty, they serve smoothies and iced tea that can make you dream away to a beach in Bali. The prices are between 89-199 kr , where you can get them brunch and various wraps .  

  Sisters Karina and Maria Bruun came up with the concept in Ibiza in 2014, where they have since developed their concept for festivals, a shop in Torvehallerne and a new café that opens in 2020. At the time of writing, they have more than 18,000 followers on their Instagram, which shows delicious avocado mugs and brightly colored food that hits among their followers.  

Their mission is to bring the message of sustainability to Denmark and the rest of the world. They live by values such as integrity, passion and quality, which can be seen in their food that is 100% vegan and organic.
