Restaurant Herregårdkælderen
In the basement under Sønderskov located Restaurant Herregårdkælderen in premises dating back to 1400 levels. Restaurant room was originally the kitchen. Oven, hearth and water cisterns are among the well-preserved parts that can be admired in the eating, while his thoughts fly back to the past.
In 1992, after restoration of Sønderskov opened Restaurant Herregårdkælderen. In early 2009, I took over the restaurant. In this regard opened Thomas Juel tower room with a great round table knight created by a kæmpeasketræ toppled by Sønderskov in hurricane back in 1999. By the same ash is produced 12 beautiful chairs with Thomas Juel's crest. The chairs are sponsored by 12 people, but they can be used by all.
In addition to these spaces consists Herregårdkælderen a banqueting room (Thomas Juel Sal) with room for 75-80 people.
Danish commodities, like from Sonder Skovs People's Garden and the area around are used in the kitchen for exciting menus. Therefore, the season important and the menu changes once a month.
