RUC - Roskilde University
Beside Trekroner lake, located RUC, which was originally called Roskilde University. The university was established in 1972 as an alternative to the University of Copenhagen, and introduced from the start of the new teaching methods that had not yet been used in similar institutions in Denmark.
Offered Bachelor's, Master's and PhD programs. So it is possible to train all the way up to becoming a researcher.
There are six departments at the university, including 31 subjects in the fields of natural sciences, social sciences and humanities. There are 9,500 students at RU, most of which are at the advanced studies program. To train all these students are employed 1,200 employees by researchers, teachers and administrative staff.
Even if you have children you can also go to university, as there is a crèche in connection with the university, so you can pick up your child right after school.
