Internships for young people must be ensured

The number of internships approaching a catastrophically low rent. It has been Minister of Education Bertel Haarder to hold weekly summits with DA, LO and KL, where the situation is monitored closely. Other organizations such as the Crafts Council has agreed with strong warnings that there a solution here and now.
The government has, inter alia, focused on the need to attract additional internships in both the public and private sectors. There shall be established incentives for vocational schools for internship outreach, strengthening EGU include via altered financing and expansion of education guarantee. Denmark Supervisor Association would like to join all positive suggestions, the situation is quite serious. The association will encourage companies - also in times of crisis - to create internships. Hopefully, the current recession remedied and the crisis lessened over the next few years, and then it will be necessary to have well-qualified and trained manpower available. Therefore, companies should bear in mind that one also, in spite of crisis care to train apprentices. The unique Danish dualization of schooling and work experience in the field of vocational education, we must safeguard. Yet it may be necessary for a while to relax the rules on access to increased use of school training, so trainees can complete the required training. In addition, expanded education guarantee within the "family" in the Academia is applied, and increased subsidies for companies that take apprentices in can also be a viable option. Actual placement centers can be in a transitional phase to help coordinate efforts and focus on expanded use of training guarantee. At the same time the many companies that do not already tend to have apprentices strongly consider embarking opening for apprentices. It may end disastrously for both the young now as businesses in the long term if more and more students in technical schools and trade schools have no opportunity to move forward in their education. Not just for apprentices - but as part of the overall strategy to counter the downturn in the craft - it is very exciting and positive development, Aarhus municipality has caught on, as the municipality has decided to put the economy of a number of improvements in the public to increase employment.
