One piece of advice before you move in
Are you just moved into an apartment, then there are a few things you should remember to be aware of. Always check all installations, doors and windows and see if there are any areas that are too humid, so there can be mold.
If there is carpeting on, look under the rugs, to see if it is concrete or wood floors that lies beneath. If it's some ugly carpets, which have lain there long as you can probably get them replaced before you move in. Is that hardwood floors are downstairs, so they can sometimes be original and thus very attractive if they are planed. It should consider, as it gives the apartment a nice look instead of carpets.
If it is concrete that is downstairs, so it is also possible that you can get laid wooden floors instead. To date, several types of wood floors can be laid directly onto concrete and it is not much more expensive than a new carpet. Of course it is plank flooring that looks the best, but they are also expensive, so it's probably easiest and cheapest way with parquet flooring, which can easily be clicked together and look almost as good. With beautiful wooden floors, it is also easier to sell the apartment again when you need to move away.
