There will be new life in the old theater, when the doors are beaten up for an afternoon of Vintage Pop with Mette Damm and Alice Sings The Petterson Songbook. 2 forward stormed the names on the Danish music scene. Both inspired by classic musical masters - from Mozart to Beach Boys - but who in their songs mixes inspiration with a distinct originality and creates a new and alluring sound.
Mette Damm is a new great talent on the music scene. Her self-written and self-produced debut album 'Where's the Extravagance for me ...?' has just finished, so this will be a concert with sparkling new material from her hand, backed by her 9 man-sized Handsome Band - complete with strings and rousing choral singers. Alice Sings The Petterson Songbook is now an established name on the Danish and increasingly international scene. They released their self-titled debut in 2006, now more is released in Germany and Japan, and they record these days their second album. The main characters in 6-man band is singer Alice Carreri and composer / guitarist Mikkel Petterson. Alice sings with electronica success Lulu Rouge and Soren Siegumfeldts String Swing - and Mikkel coming soon with a solo album. It is an extravagant concert in one of Copenhagen's most extravagant hits - Come!
