Charity event to benefit earthquake victims in Japan

It certainly is not passed you by, that one of the strongest earthquakes ever, with subsequent tsunami hit Japan on 11 March.

As a result of this, the Japanese exchange student at Aarhus University, decided to hold a charity event on April 1 to raise money for the victims in their homeland. "It's very hard to do anything when you are so far away, but we want to help and support our country, and therefore we hold this event. Nearly three weeks after the earthquake it goes slowly improving in Japan, but there are still many people who are destitute and have lost everything, "says Moemi Nagasaki, which is Japanese exchange students at Aarhus University. She has together with 11 Japanese with students chosen by organizing this event Friday, April 1st. The event is held as a Friday in the university's International Centre.
